The Applied College in Balqarn at Bisha University participates in the Digital Knowledge for All initiative.

The College of Applied Sciences in Balqarn, at the University of Bisha, participated in the Ajawid 3 initiative by presenting the "Digital Knowledge for All" initiative. This took place on Thursday, 13/09/1446, at 10:00 PM at the Al-Ahalee Gathering Hall in Sabt Al-Alaya, in the Al-Hai center. The event focused on explaining the effective use of digital technology through electronic devices (computers and smartphones), in addition to the ability to handle various programs and applications, especially those related to government services provided electronically. This event was presented by the faculty members of the Computer Science Department at the college, with the attendance of faculty staff, administrators, students, as well as local municipal officials and citizens.

The Applied College in Balqarn at Bisha University participates in the "Fahu Yashfin" initiative

As part of the Ajawid3 initiatives, under the sponsorship of the Governor of Balqarn Province and in partnership with Sabt Alalayah General Hospital, the Applied College of Balqarn at Bisha University presented the "Quality of Life Improvement Initiative" on Tuesday, 18th of September, 1446 AH, at the neighborhood hall in Sabt Alalayah, located in the central area. This event stemmed from the Quality of Life program in Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030. The initiative aims to raise community awareness about healthy lifestyles and how to improve and enhance the quality of life for individuals. The event was presented by faculty members from the Departments of Applied Medical Sciences and Administrative Sciences, and was attended by His Excellency the Governor of Balqarn Province, municipal officials from the region, staff from Sabt Alalayah Hospital and its health centers, as well as local citizens.

The Applied College in Balqarn organizes a seasonal flu vaccination program in cooperation with Sabt Alalaya General Hospital.

The Applied College in Balqarn organized a seasonal influenza vaccination program, in collaboration with Sabt Al Alaya General Hospital, which is affiliated with the Aseer Region Health Cluster. The program took place on the 16th – 17th of Rabi' al-Akhir 1447 AH, corresponding to October 8-9, 2025, starting at nine o'clock in the morning. The program was held with the attendance of a medical team from the hospital, where the seasonal influenza vaccine was provided to the college staff. This program aims to raise awareness about seasonal influenza, emphasize the importance of preventive vaccination, and enhance health culture among everyone.

The Applied College in Balqarn celebrated a joyous national ceremony on the morning of Sunday, September 28, 2025, in commemoration of the 95th Saudi National Day under the slogan "Our Glory is Our Nature." The ceremony featured various segments that embodied the deep sense of belonging and loyalty to the homeland and its wise leadership. The celebration included visual presentations, national poems, and congratulatory messages from the college staff and students, all of which expressed love and faithfulness to this precious nation. We ask Almighty God to sustain the blessings of security and safety upon our nation, and to protect the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, may God preserve them.
