Program’s Mission

​Providing an outstanding academic environment to prepare pioneering female graduates in the field of interior design, enhancing their scientific knowledge, skills, and creative abilities to meet the needs of the community and the local and international job market. This is achieved by applying academic accreditation standards and fostering competition locally and globally, in alignment with Islamic values and traditions.​

    • ​Possessing academic and scientific knowledge in interior design, identifying its cultural, social, aesthetic, and functional needs, in addition to technical, administrative, and legal awareness, as well as related fields.

    • Understanding the principles and concepts of design and planning, along with the social, environmental, cultural, and human factors that influence the design process.
    • Recognizing the stages of the development of art, architecture, and furniture throughout history.
    • Differentiating between construction materials, finishes, environmental control systems, and aspects related to lighting and acoustics, along with their properties to meet client requirements.
    • Analyzing major projects and their roles according to defined mechanisms.

    • Applying the principles of good design and planning in the field of interior design.
    • Skillfully using digital technology in designing and implementing projects.
    • Addressing acoustic defects and sound insulation in interior spaces.
    • Executing professional projects that adhere to technical specifications for feasibility studies.
