I am pleased to welcome you to the website of the College of Engineering at Bisha University, which was established in 1435 A.H. to promote the university's mission of building a community based on excellence in engineering education and scientific research, and providing innovative consultations to serve the engineering sectors, in order to contribute to the sustainable development of the Kingdom and its ambitious vision 2030.
The College of Engineering at Bisha University includes various scientific departments, including: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electrical Engineering, in addition to the Department of Architectural Engineering, which was established in the academic year 1445/1446, and the Renewable Energy Engineering Program under the Department of Electrical Engineering. Since its establishment, the college has been keen to provide distinguished and renewable academic programs to ensure the qualification of national competencies and refine their capabilities in line with the developments of the local and international labor market.
Despite its recent establishment, the college has achieved outstanding academic and scientific achievements. Thanks to the unlimited support of our wise government under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and his Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman - may God protect them - the college was able to obtain full academic accreditation from the American Accreditation Commission (ABET) for all its programs, which is a testament to its commitment to providing engineering education that meets the highest international standards.
At the College of Engineering at Bisha University, we believe that our role is not limited to graduating engineers, but extends to developing their skills and abilities by providing a distinguished learning environment that combines theoretical and applied aspects, and providing laboratories and workshops equipped with the latest technologies. The college is also keen to link its students to the practical reality through cooperative training programs and scientific visits, so that they are sufficiently qualified to engage in the engineering labor market.
In the field of scientific research and innovation, the college has achieved a local, regional and international presence, whether through the production of scientific research and distinguished innovations or the registration of patents. The college is the first college at Bishah University to register a global patent at the American Research Center, No. 9,446,973, dated 9/20/2016, which highlights our commitment to innovation and continuous development.

​The College of Engineering receives a delegation from Gold and Minerals Company Limited to discuss  ​ ways to enhance joint cooperation Within the framework of enhancing cooperation and partnership between Bisha University and the private sector: The College of Engineering received a delegation from Gold and Minerals Company Limited headed by the company's CEO, Mr. John Webster, where ways of joint cooperation were discussed in the fields of academic programs, research, innovation and student training. His Excellency the Dean of the College, Dr. Khalid bin Ayed Al-Harthi, stressed during his meeting with the company's delegation. The importance of cooperation to support the academic and professional career of the college's students, while Mr. John Webster stressed the company's keenness to build strong partnerships with Saudi universities. In a way that serves the development of the academic and industrial sectors in the Kingdom. 
The visit witnessed a tour by the delegation in the college's facilities, during which introductory presentations were given about the college's activities, its areas of specialization, the academic programs it provides and the efforts made to qualify students according to the requirements of the labor market, and a review of the aspects of research cooperation between the college and the industrial sectors and future aspirations to develop this cooperation in addition to field training programs that aim to hone students' experiences through practical training in prestigious companies and institutions such as Gold and Minerals Company Limited. The visit also included an interactive session between the company delegation and a group of students, during which the students’ experiences and available training and employment opportunities were discussed. This was followed by a dialogue session between the college administration and the company delegation, which discussed opportunities for cooperation in the field of scientific research and field training, in addition to examining the possibility of creating new academic programs in mining engineering to meet the needs of the local market. The possibility of signing future partnership agreements to enhance fruitful cooperation between the two parties was also discussed.

​Under the patronage of His Excellency the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Khaled Ayed, the Faculty of Engineering held a data analysis camp in which a number of male and female students participated. The students of the College of Engineering won first place, while the students of the College of Medicine won second place, and the students of the College of Computer Science came in third place.​
