Program’s Mission

Preparing cadres specialist in financial and actuarial mathematics through a high-quality academic program that qualifies graduates for self-learning, scientific research, competition in the labor market and community service in order to achieve sustainable development.


Educational Objectives

    1. Provide the program students with financial mathematics and actuarial science that met the requirements of the labor market.

    2. Develop students practical skills in the field of mathematics, financial mathematics and actuarial science, as well statistics.

    3. Enhancing students abilities in teamwork, effective communication, and engaging in scientific research in the field of financial mathematics and actuarial sciences.

    4. Enhance community involvement by delivering suitable education and counseling services.

Learning Outcomes

    Knowledge and Understanding:

    K1: Identify basics and advanced concepts in Islamic and historical culture, Arabic language, public health, basic sciences, scientific research and its ethics and computer.

    K2: Explain principles and methods of mathematics, statistics economics and finance.

    K3: Demonstrate proficiency in using actuarial and financial software in analyzing complex data.

    K4: Describe models of actuarial problems using concepts and theories of Actuarial and Financial Mathematics.

    Skills:

    S1: Apply the concepts of Islamic sciences, Arabic language, basic sciences, English language, and practice the basics of public health and volunteering.

    S2: Formulate and solve complex problem of mathematics, financial mathematics and actuarial sciences.

    S3: Evaluate financial risks in the areas of insurance and finance and determine appropriate strategies.

    S4: Formulate and investigate a research problem for a financial and actuarial topics
