Supporting scientific research in the field of Arabic language to reinforce Islamic identity, and preparing qualified individuals with comprehensive knowledge and skills that keep pace with modern developments and labor market requirements, enabling them to compete locally, regionally, and globally.

    • Understands research methodologies in Arabic language, methods for writing research, and handling scientific sources according to methodological principles, including documentation of texts and citations in both print and electronic sources.
    • Has a grasp of scientific principles, methodological foundations, and modern theories for analyzing texts; understands major literary issues across different literary eras.
    • Is knowledgeable about rhetorical and critical issues, both classical and modern, including the relationship between rhetoric, argumentation theories, pragmatics, and stylistics; understands the intellectual and conceptual backgrounds of critical schools and the criteria for acceptance, rejection, approval, or disapproval of critical methodologies and literary texts.

    • Differentiates between various research methodologies, discusses scientific opinions, and expresses his own views.
    • Distinguishes between different types of texts, identifies their artistic and thematic features, and understands stylistic differences and artistic characteristics among various literary genres and texts.
    • Explains major rhetorical and critical issues, differentiates between various methodologies, clarifies their intellectual backgrounds, analyzes texts rhetorically, applies constructive criticism principles, and derives critical judgments based on scientific standards.

    • Writes a scientific research paper according to methodological principles, drawing out key values and implications, and deriving significant results in his field of study.
    • Analyzes a literary text based on defined scientific and methodological principles, highlighting its artistic and thematic characteristics and prominent stylistic features.
    • Discusses rhetorical issues and various critical theories, employs suitable ones in dealing with texts, and identifies strengths and weaknesses in both the form and content of the text.
    • Understands major ancient linguistic theories and applies some of them according to their intellectual and scientific conditions.
