The Public Health program intends to create a fulfilling education for the next generation of public health practitioners and health management leaders, who are committed to promoting the health of local and global communities through research, interdisciplinary training, and service.
Department Objectives
- Provide a high-quality educational experience in an excellent academic environment to enable students to acquire knowledge, skills, and values through a responsive curriculum.
- Prepare the graduates with the knowledge and competencies that enable them to meet Saudi Commission for Health Specialties standards.
- Prepare the graduates with the competencies that enable them to conduct scientific public health research and design and implement a community engagement program.
- Evaluate public health programs and strategies across different settings.
- Recruit competent faculty members and outstanding students to create a dynamic learning community that is loyal to excellence
- Develop and raise the awareness of the community about health and prevention methods, which cover the community needs.
- Advance the mission of Bisha University through appropriate contributions to public health.
