The Applied College at the University of Bisha is one of the distinguished colleges in terms of its establishment and promising future. The college diligently strives to achieve its objectives within the framework of the university's ambitious vision, aligned with the pillars, axes, and goals of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030. It aims to contribute effectively to preparing graduates capable of competing in the job market and keeping pace with rapid developments in various applied fields. We have high hopes for the college to become a rich source of knowledge and science and a strong pillar in building creative, loyal, and successful individuals.

The college envisions leadership and excellence in educating and qualifying national talents to contribute to serving the community and achieving sustainable development. ​The Applied College of the University of Bisha participated in the 8th Saudi Optometry Conference​, 2023, which concluded its activities in Riyadh recently, organized by the Saudi Association of Optics and Vision Sciences under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Health Fahad bin Abdul Rahman Al-Jalajil, with the participation of 1500 specialists and interested parties.

Bisha University Participates in the Non-Profit Sector in Education Forum

​Bisha University participated in the Non-Profit Sector in Education Forum in its first edition, which commenced yesterday at the Ministry of Education headquarters under the title: "Horizons and Aspirations." The event was attended by His Excellency the Minister of Education and the Chairman of the University Affairs Council, Professor Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan.

The university's participation aimed to exchange ideas and experiences, and to learn about the latest effective practices in facing the challenges of the non-profit sector in education. It also involved participation in specialized workshops and dialogue sessions that seek to present innovative visions and practical solutions.

The forum, which spans two days with the attendance of more than 35 entities, aims to expand the participation of the non-profit sector in education, recognize successful experiences and impactful practices in this sector, and encourage non-profit organizations and community involvement in education, in addition to promoting qualitative experiences in this field.

The Applied College was represented by the esteemed Dr. Dhafer Al-Ahmari, Vice President of the college.

​The Applied College held a reception ceremony for new students on Wednesday, 1st of Rabi' al-Awwal 1446H, attended by the college's CEO, Dr. Abdullah Al-Harithi, the Deputy CEO, department coordinators, and several faculty members. This event is part of the college’s efforts to welcome new students and introduce them to their new academic environment.

During the ceremony, the new students were warmly welcomed and congratulated on their choice of the Applied College as a stepping stone for continuing their academic journey.

Dr. Al-Harithi also emphasized the college's commitment to supporting students and providing a stimulating educational environment that contributes to the development of their academic and personal skills. He encouraged students to take advantage of all the opportunities available to them, whether academically or through various student activities.

Applied College at Bisha Branch Wins Six-a-Side Football Championship

The Applied College at Bisha Branch won the Six-a-Side Football Championship after defeating the Faculty of Arts and Humanities team 2-0 in the final match. Abdulmajid Misfer Al-Maawi, a student from the Applied College at Bisha Branch, received the Top Scorer Award, while Abdulilah Saleh Al-Aliani, a student from the Applied College at Balqarn Branch, was awarded the Best Goalkeeper of the Championship.

The Executive President congratulated the college team on winning the Six-a-Side Football Championship and encouraged intensifying efforts in various other student activities.

College Celebration of National Day 94

As part of the Saudi National Day 94 celebrations, the Applied College organized a special event to commemorate this national occasion. The celebration included a speech by Dr. Abdullah Al-Harthi, the CEO of the college, in which he expressed his pride in the achievements of the Kingdom over the years and emphasized the role of education in shaping the future of the nation. Dr. Al-Harthi highlighted the importance of instilling values of loyalty and patriotism in students and praised the college's efforts in offering educational and training programs that contribute to achieving Saudi Vision 2030.

The event also witnessed the honoring of the winning male and female students in various competitions launched by the college in celebration of National Day. Prizes and certificates were awarded in recognition of their achievements and creativity in different fields. The celebration was met with great enthusiasm from students and faculty members, in an atmosphere filled with patriotism and pride.​
