Under the generous patronage of His Excellency the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Khaled bin Ali Abu Hasel, the College of Engineering organized last Tuesday 13/11/1441 a reception for new students and honoring outstanding students, as the ceremony started with a fragrant recitation from the Book of God, then followed by a welcoming speech guiding His Excellency The dean of the college for his students, welcomed at the outset the new students and urged them to strive in educational attainment, developing skills and acquiring knowledge, assuring them that the college with all its employees and cadres are aware of the size of the responsibility entrusted to them in graduating qualified cadres capable of actively contributing to the desired national transformation and reaching the realization of the vision Kingdom 2030.

Therefore, the college strives to make a qualitative leap in the College of Engineering by introducing new scientific specializations in the college for the next academic year, developing academic programs and obtaining ABET accreditation, as well as providing the finest laboratories and equipment that will contribute significantly to developing students' practical skills and achieving close connection Between the theoretical and practical side of engineering sciences, His Excellency the Dean of the College stressed the need for students to adhere to university regulations and regulations and discipline in the academic hours in order to reach a disciplined educational environment that is a model to be emulated and referred to.

At the end of his speech, His Excellency the College Dean thanked the Deanship of the College of Applied Medical Sciences for supervising the implementation of some medical examinations (measuring weight, sugar, and blood pressure) for students during this ceremony.
