About the Development and Quality Unit 

In the year 1435-1436 AH, the organizational structure of the Development and Quality Unit was established, a place was chosen for the unit's work, and members from all departments were nominated to the main committee, as well as sub-committees were established at the departmental level. From the positions of the faculty members nominated in the main committee and sub-committees.

Continuous improvement and development in all fields through the application of modern quality systems to support the mission of the college and university and achieve their goals, in accordance with the standards and requirements of academic accreditation for programs and courses.​

objectives

1. Spreading the culture of quality in the college through the programs of the Deanship. 
2. Improving the capabilities of college employees in the field of quality application. 
3. Contribute to the development of college plans and programs to achieve the advanced educational level. 
4. Support and encourage creativity and excellence, and develop the spirit of competition between students and faculty members. 
5. Develop plans to obtain academic accreditation to gain the trust of the community. 
6. Participation in community service through initiatives, lectures and seminars.​
 
Unit Tasks
  • ​Suggesting the internal system for work in the Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation Unit, the terms of reference and the general description of the tasks and duties of the unit's employees. 
  • Suggesting the necessary plans for academic accreditation at the college level and following up on their implementation. 
  • Follow-up internal audit reports for quality and academic accreditation processes, and develop the necessary plans for improvement. 
  • Collecting data and information on an ongoing basis and maintaining it in paper and electronic formats on quality activities, programs and events in the college.​
  • Communicate with the Deanship of Development and Quality at the university to obtain the necessary support and models for accreditation 
  • Spreading the culture of quality among the employees of the college through holding training courses and workshops. 
  • Providing technical support and consultations for scientific departments and all college units in measurement and evaluation for continuous improvement to achieve quality and excellence in technical, tool and academic fields related to quality issues. 
  • Preparing the annual report of the unit and studying it with the vice dean for development and quality. 
  • Follow up the objectives of academic measurement and evaluation in accordance with the university's directions and accreditation requirements.​
  • Activating the use of electronic measurement, and ensuring the use of the updated forms of the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Assessment. 
  • Follow-up studies to measure the satisfaction of the beneficiaries of the college's programs and activities. 
  • Providing training equipment and supplies in coordination with the stakeholders, introducing and announcing training programs, organizing them, and following up their implementation and evaluating them. 
  • Review and develop the quality management system tools and work on their application. Work on the issues that are referred to the development and quality department by the Dean of the College.
