The Applied College of the University of Bisha participated in the 8th Saudi Optometry Conference​​, 2023, which concluded its activities in Riyadh recently, organized by the Saudi Association of Optics and Vision Sciences under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Health Fahad bin Abdul Rahman Al-Jalajil, with the participation of 1500 specialists and interested parties.

The university was represented by Dr. Nawal Hawsawi, teacher of Optics at the Applied College; where she gave a lecture entitled: 

within a scientific session on Low Vision​

It is worth noting that the conference covered many important topics, including: eye diseases, myopia, and vision, the latest technologies in this field, artificial intelligence and its role in the technologies used in eye diseases, community eye health, and the role of specialists in raising awareness of eye diseases and reducing their spread.​
