The Academic Development and Quality Unit was established in the college in the academic year 1432/1433 AH, within the framework of structuring the quality processes at the university, in light of the direction of the University of Bisha towards attention to quality and the importance of obtaining academic accreditation for all institutional and program activities at the university, and the Academic Development and Quality Unit at the college sought to organize its work Through a group of committees and sub-units within the college departments.
Total quality is a management concept that refers to the administrative process that is based on a set of values that derive their movement energy from the information within which they can organize the talents of workers in the facility, and invest their intellectual capabilities in various levels of organization creatively to achieve continuous improvement. Total quality has received a great deal of attention to the extent that some researchers call this era the era of quality as one of the main pillars of the modern educational management model, and it can be said that total quality is the real challenge that nations will face in the coming decades. Quality management in education is an approach to comprehensive and continuous development based on a group effort with a team spirit. It is a modern management philosophy that takes the form, approach, or a comprehensive management system based on bringing about radical positive changes to everything within the institution so that these changes include: thought, behavior, and values , Organizational beliefs and management concepts, management leadership style, work and performance systems and procedures, and more.
Quality in education is related to the processes of learning, education and management in general, in order to link education with the needs of society, bring about meaningful educational change, and build and develop the creativity of learners. It should be noted that the term quality is not a new term in our Islamic culture.
قوله تعالى : ﴿صُنْع اللهِ الَّذِي أَتْقَنَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ﴾ وقوله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - : "إن الله يحب إذا عمل أحدكم عملاً أن يتقنه."
