Standing Committee for Admission and Registration

1- Supervising and following up the admission procedures through the majors and programs offered by the university, in line with the sustainable development plans and the goals of the national transformation initiatives 2020, and the Kingdom's 2030 vision.

2- Proposing general policies for admission to the university in coordination with all colleges and departments concerned with the university.

3- Proposing the number of students admitted from new students to scientific specializations in the faculties of the university.

4- Recommending the creation of new study programs or specializations or stopping admission to some of the existing specializations according to the capabilities of the university and the need for the labor market for these specializations.

5- Working to enhance and increase awareness of applicant students with the specializations that are compatible with the labor market and suit their capabilities

And their potentials by making joint committees with the education departments in the region and all relevant authorities.

6- Proposing the academic calendar for the academic year at the university.

7 - Work to activate coordination between the Deanship of Admission and Registration and other colleges and departments of the concerned university and define the roles and tasks assigned to each party.

8- Working on activating academic advising in every college, and educating students about the importance of the academic advisor and his vital role in helping male and female students support their academic career at the university.
